Advanced and Defensive Riding, changing bikers into skilled riders.

Courses

We have three advanced motorcycle training courses that are designed to meet the needs of riders with varying skills and experience. We will be happy to discuss any special needs you may have and are extremely flexible.

Course 1 - A full day's training (cost: £140)

This course is Suitable for both 'seasoned' or 'born again' riders, and while we are very flexible, the following items serve as 'core' components of the course...

This is an intensive, full day of riding and instruction, combined with appropriate stops for debrief, queries and discussion.

The day starts with a neccesary outline of safety and administrative issues and the fitting of radio communication appliances. This is followed by the agenda for the day which will be tailored to meet the requirements you state when you book the course.

After an initial ride to determine your skill level, our instructor will perform a demonstration ride with comentary. The format for the rest of the day is entirely dependant upon your requirements and current skill level. There will be several stops to allow for comfort breaks, lunch and discussion.

For an overview of the process we use, visit our techniques page.

At the close of the day, we stop for a final spot of refreshment and a full debrief.

Course 2 - Two full days training (cost: £270)

For those who need a little more training to fine tune their skills and cover various elements of advanced riding in greater depth.

Each day follows the same format as our 1 day course, but we spend more time on each of the issuess you need to work on..

Course 3 - Three full days training (cost: £390)

For newly qualified riders who need the 'full monty'. This course provides a concentrated approach to improving your new skill.

Each day follows the same format as our 1 & 2 day courses, but we slowly and steadily build on your confidence and skills each day.

In most cases, a one day course is usually enough to either correct any problems or give you a good insight and introduction into advanced riding techniques.

Whilst we prefer to train on a 'One to One' basis to ensure a student achieves the maximum benefit from our courses, we will consider booking from small groups, usually a maximum of two students, for which a discount will apply to the second student for whatever course they choose. Prices are available on application for such occasions.
